Volvo PV444, year 1957. Colour very light grey combined with a two-tone grey/ red cloth interior. This wonderful Volvo PV444 L comes from the final year of production. A previous owner must have preferred an earlier style grille (up to 1955 model year) with four horizontal bars which gives the car an earlier appearance. The other details are correct for the 1957 model year. The Volvo was sold new in the Netherlands and registered on 31 May 1957. The automobile was restored many years ago. The automobile is in a good driver condition. The bodywork is sound, the paintwork is good and body trim shows some patina. The interior is a true time capsule and shows traces of use. Very special is the presence of a period original AM radio of the make ‘SoundRadio’. This very nice PV444 is also fitted desirable period accessories like the original roof rack and the American style blue sun visor!
