Restoration Talbot Lago Record T 26, 1947

This 1947 Talbot Lago Record T 26 with Worblaufen bodywork has been restored by us to concourse condition for a client from Germany. Only three of these very special automobiles have been built with Worblaufen body. All three cars were different as the owners could specify personal wishes to be incorporated during the design and production of their automobile. This automobile is being fully restored with utmost precision to factory original standards. The interior of the car was restored using the original leather. On the important European Concours d'Élégance, which was held from July 3 until July 4, 2004 this automobile won the FIRST prize in it's class (Düsseldorf, Germany). On the prestigious Concours d'Élégance Villa d'Este in Italy, which was held from April 23 until April 25, 2004, this automobile won the THIRD prize in category C, 1940-1959: Open Cars "Le temps du changement".
