DeLorean DMC-2 by Giorgetto Giugiaro (1981)
Ex General Motors president De Lorean was committed to built his own ultimate sportscar. With a chassis constructed by Lotus, a centrally mounted engine (the French V6 PRV engine) and a Stainless steel bodywork with "gull wings" by Giugiaro his dream had to come true. Over 8500 DeLorean sportscars left the factory in Northern Ireland before production was ceased.
