Chevrolet Corvette C1, year 1960. Colour grey (Sateen Grey) with crème white ‘coves’. This combined with a red leatherette interior and red carpet. Black soft-top. This fantastic Chevrolet Corvette from the first series (1953 – 1962) is in very good condition and the car drives and sounds perfectly! The Chevrolet Corvette features a steel chassis and a glass-fibre reinforced bodywork, quite a production novelty in the early 1950’ies and a smart way to produce a car in limited numbers. This is a wonderful Corvette C1 factory fitted with a manually operated gearbox! The big V8 engine and the robust mechanics are true American hallmarks. The car shows all the original details, you will never stop admiring all the beautiful styling details and the stunning dashboard! This is a magnificent example of the first series, a true cult-car from the rock & Roll era!
