Ford Mustang Coupé, 1966

Ford Mustang Coupé, year 1966. Colour red combined with a red ‘Pony’ interior and red carpet. This gorgeous Ford Mustang was sold new in the USA where it was extensively restored in the years 2009 – 2011. The bodywork was restored from the bare metal and everything was restored, renewed and / or overhauled. The engine, gearbox, rear axle, and suspension were completely overhauled. A photo report and invoices of the restoration are present. The car was exported to the Netherlands in 2012. The car is in excellent to superb condition and it shows wonderful original details. The interior is in pristine condition, showing the original steering wheel and radio. You will only find a small tear in the headlining. The engine is a 5-Litre V8 unit which was up rated with cylinder heads and an intake manifold by Edelbrock. The engine is very powerful, and it sounds fantastic! The suspension was upgraded with special springs and shock absorbers giving a firmer ride. Furthermore, the car is fitted with tinted glass, an automatic 3-speed gearbox, and gorgeous original wheels with brand new tires. A lot of money was invested to get this Ford Mustang in this wonderful condition, a highly desirable example ready to enjoy to the fullest!
