Saab 96 V4 De Luxe rally car, year of built 1968, first registration 14 January 1972 (Netherlands). Colour white combined with a black rally interior. Sparco bucket seats upholstered with black cloth and leather on the raised parts, black rubber carpet. This impressive Saab V4 was superbly built, modified, and tuned as a competitive and reliable historic rally car in the year 2009. The work was commissioned by the current owner who has cherished the car since 2009. The car is in very good to excellent condition, and it has driven about 20.000 kilometres since the work was finished. The owner has enjoyed this powerful and fast Saab a lot in several historic rally events. Before and after every event the car was fully inspected and serviced, recently the car was given extensive service by a Saab Specialist. The incredibly special tuned V4 engine was built by the firm Sweed Speed Racing (Saab V4 specialist) in the Netherlands. Below you will find a list of modifications which were carried out the engine and to other parts of the car. The engine now features special intake manifolds with two twin-choke Weber carburettors. This power package takes a lot of space under the bonnet. To open the bonnet, it now must be taken away completely since the hinges were deleted. Engine specifications: V4 engine, 1770 cc, 130 bhp power, 200 Nm torque. This is a perfectly rally prepared Saab 96 V4 De Luxe.
