Willys M38 Jeep, year 1951. The car comes with a Polynorm trailer. The car and trailer are finished in beige, brown, black, and green camouflage colours, the interior is matte green. This iconic Jeep model M38 ¼ ton 4x4 Truck is the type which was built for the wars in Korea and Vietnam. The Jeep was imported from the USA in 1992. The car was cherished, and regularly driven, by its last Dutch owner since 2007. This Jeep was very well kept and maintained; an extensive service history file is present. The car drives delightfully, and all the controls operate perfectly. The Jeep comes with many accessories: A deep-water kit, a field radio with long antenna, warn overdrive, a night lamp, a Detroit Arsenal heater with extra windshield demister, and a fold flat windscreen. Included is a Polynorm trailer from the same period, fitted with new tyres and good lighting. This original Willys Jeep M38 is fitted with a 60 bhp Jeep engine. The gearbox is a 3-speed unit with high and low gearing. The electrical system is 24 Volts. This is a very desirable original Willys Jeep in perfectly serviced condition, a great find for the enthusiast!
