Chevrolet pick-up truck, year 1946. Chassis (VIN) number 6DPB7265, engine number N329359CAL. Colour olive green with a light green accent around the cabin and bonnet, and black mudguards. The metal parts of the cabin interior are painted in matte greyish/brown metallic, and the bench is upholstered with dark green leather. This tremendous 1946 Chevrolet pick-up truck was imported from Texas (USA) to the Netherlands in 2013. Photos of the car before restoration are present, the car was rust free with paint, rubbers and upholstery aged and dried by many years of harsh sunlight, a fantastic base to start a full restoration. In the years 2016-2020 the car was extensively restored to perfection. The rust-free body was stripped to the bare metal and superbly repainted by the firm of ‘Eastend’ in Uithuizen (NL). The mechanical components were overhauled and rebuilt by the firm ‘Oldtimer Techniek’ in Roodeschool (NL). Costs nor efforts were spared in the process, all the chrome parts were re-chromed perfectly, the bench was upholstered perfectly, the pick-up floor was trimmed with wonderful wood and stainless-steel strips. All the invoices are present. Around €100.000 was spent to restore this Chevrolet to perfection. A complete photo report is present. This top restored Chevrolet pick-up truck is a magnificent find for the demanding enthusiast, and the car is a delight to drive with its straight six engine. The car comes complete with an original owner’s manual and a shop manual. The car is currently registered in the Netherlands. You will not find a second Chevrolet pick-up of this type in this 1A condition outside the USA!
