Make history

Indian Prince, year 1926. Frame number AL 235X. Colour dark red with a dark brown leather saddle. This very rare and very special Indian Prince motorcycle is in a very original ‘barn-find’ condition! The motorcycle has been re-painted, probably before World War 2. This fabulous Indian undeniably shows its age but everything is in full working order! This historic ‘survivor’ shows a fantastic vintage patina which can only be obtained by literally ‘growing old’ in a barn. This super original motorcycle must be the ‘holy-grail’ for the true Indian collector or enthusiast. The 347 cc single-cylinder four-stroke engine delivers about 5.5 bhp and the machine weighs 127 kilogrammes empty. Indian once was the biggest motorcycle company in the world. These legendary machines were built in Springfield from 1901 until the mid-1950s, the early Indian motorcycles were ahead of the competition because of their very advanced design. Indians became famous before World War 1 because they built very competitive racers. The machines were also very successful on the old Brooklands circuit in England where Indians scored a 1, 2, 3-victory in the 1911 Senior TT-race. The Indian Prince is one of the most famous Indian models of the 1920s and therefore today very coveted by collectors and enthusiast alike. This Indian Prince is a very special collectors-item indeed!
