Peugeot 202 saloon, year 1940. Exterior colour black with wheels painted red. Grey melange interior upholstery and black rubber protective mats. The Peugeot 202 is a compact version of the 402, both models were presented in 1939 and featured a wonderful aerodynamic design. The 202 was available as four-door saloon (Berline), four-door cabriolet (decapotabe) and two-door drophead Coupé. The 202 is fitted with a four-cylinder 1133 cc engine and a three-speed synchronised gearbox with column change. The presented Peugeot 202 is in a very good condition, the bodywork is in wonderful condition, the interior was newly upholstered in the past, the very nice original dashboard gauges are working. The car shows beautiful original details, and it features an original sliding sunroof and a roof rack. The car is fully up-to-date and was serviced by Altena Classic Service. In the hands of the last owner the Peugeot 202 participated in historic pre-war car events like the 2019 Paris-Amsterdam. This splendid Peugeot 202 is a delightful driver car and a fantastic find for the pre-war car enthusiast.
