Dodge Charger restoration project

Make history

This very impressive Dodge charger body (yes, the same model as the ‘General Lee’ which features in the classic American TV-series ‘the Dukes of Hazzard’) is being restored to immaculate top condition. The car was fully stripped and the bodywork was stripped of paint by a special and very effective ‘bathing‘-process. Immediately after the paint was stripped the body was given a protective coating to prevent surface corrosion of the naked metal. As you can see in the pictures the body looks to be in good condition. The sheet metal work was carried out and of course more rust was found. All the rusty parts were renewed which can be clearly seen in the photos. Then the body was primed, smoothened, and the final black paint job given. After that the paint was 'topped', polished, and waxed to get a glass like result!
